Merry Christmas everyone! I have been in full vacation mode and successfully ignoring the Internet. Read the Hunger Games, went to the movies and spent lots of time with family and friends! The best part- I’m have way there! Today we are onto to the MS Coast for a balmy Christmas with my brother, his wife, my sister, her kids, aunts, uncles, cousins and of course the original Alva (my mother). Hope everyone has a lovely holiday! See you in the new year!
We are throwing around the idea of getting a dog after the holidays… but we may be moving next year… far away (phD applications are in). I am so practical, I can make a pros and cons list faster than anyone, but my heart does melt a little bit when I see pictures like these:
I cannot wait to get away! Here are the books that will be gracing many a Mississippi nightstand… Yes I am giving in to the Hunger Games phenomena… gonna need some spirituality and comedy to recover from that one. The Raymond Carver I’ve never read, but it’s a dear friend’s favorite! What about you? What’s on your list?
